The traditional bent-steel saddles changed the world of guitar, and we all love them, even with their small limitations.
Groove Master Saddles for Stratocaster combine that classic look with the features that set Groove Master apart: Micro Grooves, which allow you to control the lateral spacing of the strings; a clearly defined contact point, designed to eliminate the sitar effect; and carefully selected alloys chosen for their tonal qualities.
Like traditional bent-steel saddles, they provide proper intonation and are comfortable to play, but they incorporate that extra something that, according to the musicians who have tried them, you can really feel.
The saddles are precision-machined from solid metal rather than using traditional bent-steel construction. This allows for more stable intonation and firmer thread engagement with the height-adjustment screws.
A greater screw length is threaded into the saddle itself, allowing the use of shorter height-adjustment screws, providing solid contact with less chance of
the screws protruding and becoming uncomfortable against the player's hand.
The screws feature the same original-spec 4-40 thread, but are now made from stainless steel to prevent corrosion.
