A Sunburst-finished thinline hollow body featuring a laminated maple body and neck, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with double parallelogram inlays, and a short 23.5" scale length.
Equipped with its original 1957 PAF pickups and original gold hardware, including Kluson Deluxe tuners, ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridge, and trapeze tailpiece. Includes its original Lifton hardshell case.
Developed from the suggestions of renowned Nashville guitarists Hank Garland and Bill Byrd, the ES-350T was conceived as a more comfortable alternative to the traditional 17" archtops, featuring a thinner body and an optimized neck profile designed to facilitate complex passages and extended chord voicings, in line with the demands of modern jazz players of the era.
A relatively scarce model, the ES-350T occupies a notable place in rock & roll history: a natural-finish version served as the primary instrument of Chuck Berry during the peak of his career in the 1950s.
