$24000.00 USD

Fender Stratocaster from 1957, featuring a very old refinish in an attractive Desert Sand finish, which has developed exceptional patina and character over the years.

The guitar is very complete and retains a large number of original components. All of the plastics are original, with the exception of the pickguard. It retains its three original pickups, along with one original Stackpole pot dated August 1956 and two CTS pots dated November 1984. The capacitors are also original.

The main hardware remains original, including the tremolo arm, bridge, saddles, neck plate, and Kluson Deluxe Single Line tuners.

At some point in its life, the guitar had a different set of tuners installed. In order to fit them, the tuner holes were enlarged and bushings were fitted to accommodate the original tuners. It currently has its original Kluson Deluxe Single Line tuners installed again.

The body also features a small route underneath the pickguard, between the neck and middle pickups, apparently made at some point for the installation of a mini switch or similar device.
